Job Description
Performs work required for the construction and installation of electrical systems for residential projectsCapable of panel upgrades/replacement, partial rewires, new installations.Diagnose, repair shorts and failures.Repairs malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiringInstalls fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipmentInspects circuits for specified shielding and groundingWork responsibly using personal and company supplied tools and equipmentPerforms all job duties following all established safety standardsLocates and determines electrical malfunctions using test equipmentRequirements:Valid driver's licenseReliable transportationThorough knowledge of the electrical tradeWork independently without supervisionStand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift/carry up to 50lbsAbility to climb laddersWork around dirt, dust and other construction environsUse basic hand and power tools as requiredAble to supply their own personal tools per established tool listAbility to communicate with co-workers and Foreman.Able to read instructions and follow safety rules and regulations
