As an intern at Sumitomo Drive Technologies you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside professionals in the industry.Purpose and Scope of Job:We are offering an exciting internship opportunity to individuals eager to learn and develop their skills in Business, Engineering, Safety, or Finance. The intern will assist the team in a variety of tasks, contribute to ongoing projects, and gain valuable exposure. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in!Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):Assist with day-to-day operations of the assigned department.Conduct research and gather relevant data for projectsSupport in creating presentations, reports and documentationParticipate in team meetings and brainstorming sessionsAssist in additional tasks as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency or currently working towards degree in Business, Engineering, Automation, Communications, etc.Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices with demonstrated record of success in customer service (in person and on the phone).Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent communication skills necessary to positively interact with visitors, applicants and employees.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.Any additional essential skills and/or knowledge as shown in the HRIS Career & Education > Skills section for incumbents holding this job title.Work Conditions & Physical Environment:This position is exposed to sensitive information that requires a high level of tact and confidentiality.
