STG Design is seeking a Communications & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who understands how brand strategy, social media engagement, and thoughtful storytelling work together to position a design firm for success. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who is confident developing digital content and producing high-quality visual and graphic assets that bring the firm's brand, projects, and culture to life. The position also provides targeted support to proposal pursuits, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment. The right candidate brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, thrives in a collaborative studio environment, and understands the pace and evolving demands of the A/E/C industry.The Communications & Marketing Coordinator will focus on guiding firmwide marketing, brand, and communication initiatives, while also providing support throughout the project proposal process. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with principals, project teams, and the Director of Business Development to ensure STG Design's work, culture, and expertise are communicated clearly and consistently. Depending on the day, responsibilities will include:Social Media, Digital Communications, & Public RelationsDevelop and maintain a social media strategy aligned with firm goalsCreate and curate content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, company website, etc.), highlighting projects, people, and studio cultureDesign and produce graphic assets for social media, proposals, presentations, and internal communications, translating project photography and concepts into compelling visual contentMaintain visual consistency, layout quality, and brand standards across all digital and print deliverablesMaintain awareness of industry trends and peer firm activity to inform digital positioningMonitor performance and refine approach based on analytics and engagementShare marketing insights and updates with firm leadershipIdentify and secure media opportunities, including project features and thought leadershipBrand & Communications StrategyMaintain a consistent brand voice across proposals, communications, and digital platformsTranslate complex architectural work into accessible, engaging narrativesCollaborate with leadership to identify stories that reflect the firm's values, culture, and impactSupport business development efforts through clear, strategic messagingPursuits & ProposalsAssist the proposal process from early pursuit strategy through final submissionHelp maintain proposal and marketing databases, templates, and content librariesAs directed, partner with principals and project managers to define themes, positioning, and differentiationEnsure proposals reflect both technical excellence and design intentAs directed, support interview preparation and presentation strategy as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related fieldStrong graphic design skills with demonstrated experience producing layouts, visual content, and branded marketing materials3-5 years of experience in marketing, proposals, or communications1-3 years of experience in the A/E/C industryExperience managing social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and performance trackingExceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skillsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on graphic design and layout production (InDesign required)Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing prioritiesCollaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with senior leadershipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPhotography and photography coordination experience preferredFamiliarity with additional design tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Affinity SuiteExperience with public-sector and government pursuitsFamiliarity with Deltek Vision or similar CRM systemsComfortable advising leadership on brand, messaging, and positioningWe value people who want to immerse themselves in creativity, collaboration, being at the forefront of innovation, and approach design inquisitively and thoughtfully.
