ResponsibilitiesSolve complex electrical design problems ensuring compliance with codes and standardsCollaborate with architecture, other engineering disciplines, PMs, and contractorsLead project teams and deliver engineering design packages to diverse clientsProvide oversight and mentoring to junior engineers and designersSupport construction and commissioning activities and ensure quality communication with project teams and clientsCoordinate with the electrical team across offices to improve standards and perform load flow, short circuit, and voltage drop analyses
Key requirements6–10 years of experience in Electrical EngineeringABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in relevant fieldRegistered Professional Engineer in Virginia or able to obtain via reciprocity within 3 monthsExperience in building system design (power distribution, lighting and control, grounding and lightning protection, and UPS)Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, AGI; knowledge of sustainable design practicesEligible to work in the United States and obtain security clearancecollaboration and teamworkleadership and mentoringstrong communicationETAPSKMAGI
