Position Summary: DOTCOM is seeking an experienced Coax Splicer to perform splicing, testing, and activation of coaxial cable systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with coax construction, signal testing, and system troubleshooting within the telecommunications industry. Responsibilities: Perform splicing, testing, and activation of coaxial cable systems Diagnose and repair signal issues using appropriate test equipment such as signal level meters or spectrum analyzers Install and maintain connectors, amplifiers, taps, and power supplies Read and interpret maps, schematics, and construction prints Complete daily production and test documentation accurately Ensure compliance with DOTCOM and industry safety standards Work independently or as part of a team in outdoor and field environments Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience in coax splicing or telecommunications field work required Solid understanding of RF systems, signal flow, and coax network design Proficient in using test and measurement equipment for coax systems Ability to read and interpret construction prints and system documentation Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Commitment to DOTCOM’s values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Upon a job offer, all DOTCOM employees and contractors must successfully complete a drug screening and criminal background check.
