Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p (OT optional)

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role supports production uptime by diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems on plant equipment
Install and align motors, blowers, transmissions, and newly acquired equipment
Troubleshoot controls for AC/DC motors and instrumentation
Rebuild mechanical gearboxes, vacuum pumps, and water pumps
Perform calibration of electrical equipment
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement solutions
Complete assigned maintenance tasks and document work through SAP or CMMS systems
Train production employees on basic maintenance practices such as cleaning, inspection, and lubrication
Communicate with vendors as needed to support maintenance activities
Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance and work areas
Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training with certification
1+ year of industrial maintenance experience (3+ years preferred in a large industrial setting)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics (preferred)
Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys or FMEA (preferred)
Experience with IR technology, lubrication practices, oil analysis, and laser alignment
