This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global technology leader on mission-critical systems.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and administer IBM z/VM environmentsManage virtual machine provisioning, scaling, and decommissioningAdminister DirMaint, VMSES/E, and RACF for z/VM securityPerform system maintenance, IPLs, PTFs, APARs, and RSU updatesInstall and support Linux on IBM Z (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu)Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide L2/L3 supportAutomate operational tasks using REXX, Shell scripting, or PythonSupport security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery initiativesRequired Skills:IBM z/VM 6.x / 7.x AdministrationLinux on IBM Z (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu)Virtual Machine Provisioning & ManagementDirMaint, VMSES/E, RACFHMC Operations & IPL ProcessesDASD Storage & z Systems NetworkingStrong Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning ExperiencePreferred Skills:Grafana, OMEGAMONAnsible, Python, REXX, Shell ScriptingSysplex, Storage & Networking IntegrationDevOps, CI/CD, Docker, KubernetesHybrid Cloud & Linux on Z EnvironmentsIf you're interested or know someone who would be a great fit, feel free to send your updated resume or connect with me directly.
