Our clients are spread across the healthcare, biopharma, assisted living, food service, retail and facilities management sectors.We are looking to expand our sales team in the US East Coast with the addition of a new Sales Development Representative (SDR), responsible for prospecting for new business and providing a consistent flow of appointments for high quality, well-qualified sales leads for our team of Enterprise Technology Partners. This role will work closely with the Sales team, Go-To-Market, Product, Demand Generation and Customer Success teams.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly scaling technology business with an enormous addressable market and few true competitors across our entire product range. The earning potential is substantial, and you’ll be part of a welcoming and friendly team.We’re looking for an experienced SDR from within the SaaS and/or IoT product sectors, with a demonstrable track record of successful sales achievement, career progression and stability. This is a remote role on the East Coast time zone.What you'll be doingUsing a variety of structured sales techniques to cold contact prospective customers and book sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.Responding to inbound sales enquiries, qualifying them to assess relevance, and converting realistic prospects into sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.Targeting Operations leaders in enterprise level companies across one or more of our key markets: Medical (private hospitals, medical laboratories & research institutions); Facilities Management (typically service outsourcing companies especially in the contract catering sector); Senior Living ; Hospitality & Catering (food-to-go, pub/bar & restaurant chains etc).Achieving stretching KPIs around call volumes, social media engagement, customer contacts, meetings booked & quality of leads generated.You’ll be achieving targets of 12 high quality qualified meetings booked per month, along with activity targets.The sales team will report that the prospects are genuine, well qualified, and are strong potential buyers.You’ll be working in a structured and organized way according to MEDDIC methodology principles, using the full range of sales channels and techniques at your disposal.You’ll be consistently demonstrating the right behaviors in role, and will be operating with high energy and relentless optimism and positivity. You won’t be letting rejection get you down or slow you down.What we're looking forAny experience as an SDR within the SaaS or IoT sectors would be useful, but isn’t essential.Any other structured sales experience, particularly in a business-to-business sector, would be good.Experience of being professionally trained in sales would also be helpful.
