RF Technician

For over 30 years, Shine Micro has been designing, developing and manufacturing RF solutions for vessel safety and awareness for the marine and aeronautics industry in the US and abroad.Purpose of the JobShine Micro, Inc. is seeking an additional RF Technician to work in a fast-paced team environment at our Port Ludlow office. The RF Technician will perform a variety of tasks including; Test, troubleshoot and repair of RF receivers/transceivers, GPS receivers, VHF electronic equipment and DC/DC converters at the PCB and final assembly level. Experience using RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, digital storage oscilloscopes, and test techniques related to RF electronic circuits is highly desirable. Primary responsibilities are the testing of PCB assemblies, sub-assemblies and final product including calibration and burn-in. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair of RF, analog and digital circuit boards, customer RGA repair and general equipment maintenance. Experience working under ISO9001 and AS9100 or similar working practices and procedures is an added bonus.Essential DutiesTest, troubleshoot and repair RF, analog and digital circuitsPrepare written reports, process RGA and repair paperworkEnsure on-going adherence to established ISO 9001 quality and workmanship standardsEnsure on time repair of customer products as scheduledUtilize appropriate bill of material and repair proceduresMonitor and maintain condition of test equipment and test fixturesMay assist in the training of new staff or cross-train current staff to supportOther duties as assigned. QualificationsAbility to read and interpret schematics and understand circuit theoryAbility to learn new processes quicklyBasic computer skills required including MS Word and ExcelGood written and verbal communication skills, positive attitude and motivation to learn new processes.
