Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position includes both the clinic and OR. This is a well-established and busy practice. This doctor has a focus on hip and knee joint replacements and some general cases. The Physician Assistant will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR and newer OR suites. Responsibilities include:Run orthopedic clinicFirst assistJoint aspiration and injections Pre-op and post-op H&P sHospital roundingWrite scripts Coordinate with Physical Therapist Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan and MRI Casting and splinting The location is 15-20 minutes to Medford. This doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation. Compensation: Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package.
