General Manager (GM)

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service and hospitality industries, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing staff, and driving profitability while maintaining a positive work environment. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory control, staff training, and customer service. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and enhance the guest experience. Oversee hiring processes, including interviewing and onboarding new staff members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Manage financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems for managing transactions and tracking sales data. Foster a positive team culture through effective communication and leadership. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or food service management within the restaurant or food industry. Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices. Demonstrated ability to train staff effectively and lead by example. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with both staff and customers.
