The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an extensive food service management background, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant environment. The General Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer experienceManage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure team efficiency and professionalismSupervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hospitalityControl inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitabilityUtilize POS systems such as Toast and 7Shifts for accurate cash handling and sales trackingEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitationLead staff interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to promote a skilled workforceImplement shift management strategies to ensure smooth daily operations during breakfast hoursMonitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standardsCollaborate with culinary staff on menu planning, food presentation, and quality controlAssist in budgeting processes and operational planning to support business growthExperienceProven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environmentsExtensive background in food industry management, including supervising teams, inventory control, and food safety protocolsHands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS preferred. We use 7shifts for scheduling and communicationStrong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and hospitality management practicesDemonstrated leadership skills in training & development, team management, and customer service excellencePrior experience in fine dining or hotel settings is a plus, but not requiredBackground in catering or banquet services is advantageousExperience with budget management, staffing interviews, shift supervision, and food handling regulationsBenefits: Performance Based Bonuses, 5% net profit sharing, and soon, health insurance.
