Responsibilities As a Climbing Arborist Intern, you will play an important role in: Learning through on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including: Tree climbing Pruning Sprays Wiring and bracing Moves Properly maintaining and handling equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts) Applying safety procedures in work zones Helping ground and aerial arborist climbers working on the ground and at height Helping with driving, backing, unloading, and parking tasks Learning, understanding, and respecting all company safety rules and safety policies Qualifications Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors Interest in working outdoors year-round and in any weather conditions Valid driver's license Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required A degree in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, turfgrass, environmental science, plant science, outdoor recreation, agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required The F.
