The RRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care and treatment to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves assessing patients, administering respiratory therapies, monitoring ventilators, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care. The therapist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment and provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy, airway management, and monitoring of patients requiring ventilatory support. Responsibilities may include evaluating respiratory status, performing diagnostic testing, documenting patient care in the EMR system, and responding to respiratory emergencies when needed. Requirements Requirements: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and state license (as required) Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience in a hospital or acute care setting Experience providing respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management Ability to assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems BLS certification (AHA) ACLS certification (AHA) PALS certification (AHA) Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3 days per week) and start on the scheduled contract date
