Survey Project Manager (FDOT)
BGE Inc. is seeking an FDOT Survey Project Manager to join our Survey Team in our Tampa, FL officeBGE, Inc. is a nationwide consulting firm that provides services in civil engineering, planning, landscape architecture, construction management, transportation, survey, and environmental services for public and private clients.Our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package to includes outstanding health care, generous 401(k) match, career mapping, and highly competitive time away from work programs including remote work, dependent care, and flexible Fridays.Job Description:Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on FDOT or other municipal transportation projectsPlan, scheduled conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or a total project of moderate scopePerform boundary analysis for large-scale corridor, route, and sectionalized land surveysDirect conversations with clients at the beginning, during, and end of projectsCapable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignmentsSeal professional surveying documentsOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure within 12 monthsFive years of office experience working on DOT projectsStrong technical skills, including experience with Microstation and OpenRoads DesignerStrong experience in Right-of-way mapping is highly preferredNot accepting non-resident applicants or Sponsorships.
