About the RoleThe Customer Care Agent is part of Ariat's Customer Care Team and is responsible for all facets of the 800# and call center support functions. This position provides service to Ariat dealers and consumers via inbound 800#, fax, and email. The Customer Care Agent processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customers' requests. This role is responsible for researching and resolving issues to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office and remote work. Periodic travel may be required.You'll Make a Difference bySupporting 800#/ B2B/ Ariat.com requests via incoming calls/faxes/emails regarding orders, order changes, return authorizations, and warranty coverageProviding courteous and professional service to internal and external customersEnsuring orders are entered accurately, audited, and confirmed in a timely mannerHaving the ability to promote the company's products and services to match specific customers' needsResolving a diverse range of issues including general questions and problems involving pricing, product usage and care, product availability, inventory, transportation, and product deliveryProviding general assistance to callers by directing them to the appropriate person or departmentOrdering corporate office suppliesProviding general assistance to multiple departments for special projects as neededMaintaining corporate contact lists (i.e. office extensions, sales reps, international office locations)Completing all other tasks and duties as assigned (i.e. order entry, front desk coverage, assisting with all avenues of consumer/retailer communication)About YouA high school diploma or equivalent required1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a service industry, preferably in a fast-paced call center environmentExperience processing orders, data entry, or heavy phone work.
