Maintenance Manager

Must-Haves:10+ years of maintenance experience5+ years of management experienceAbility to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs (programming experience preferred)Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc robots (ideal: touch-up teaching)Experience with both mechanical and electrical systemsHigh school diploma required; technical training/certifications preferredExperience managing spare parts inventory and orderingStrong leadership and ability to work within established guidelinesPlusses:Advanced PLC programming skillsTechnical certifications in electrical, hydraulics, pneumaticsFamiliarity with NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79 codesDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance for plant operationsManage PM schedules and ensure timely completionTroubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, motors/drives, downstream equipment, chillers, etc.)Maintain spare parts inventory and order components as neededManage CMMS performance and compliance Lead and develop maintenance team (currently 1 person, expanding to 2)Work with vendors for equipment installation and outsourced laborHandle some facilities maintenance and vendor coordinationSupport continuous improvement projects and capital investment opportunities Ensure safety compliance (Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, PPE) Skills & Knowledge:Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshootingAbility to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawingsProficient with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, etc.)Knowledge of AC/DC drives, motors, and industrial wiringPLC I/O troubleshooting and networkingServo drive and motor motion trainingStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeRoot Cause Analysis and problem-solving experienceEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredVocational/technical training preferredBasic PLC and drive training preferred
