This role is the day-to-day operator and strategic lead on its accounts — responsible for driving measurable revenue and conversion outcomes through data-driven campaign management and clear client communication. Without this role, clients don't hit their numbers and Kargo loses its credibility as a performance partner.This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 4 days per week.Outcomes — What Success Looks Like in 6–12 MonthsClient performance targets met consistently across the portfolio — Assigned accounts are hitting or exceeding ROAS and conversion goals on a recurring basis, with no accounts in a red or at-risk state due to execution gaps.Campaign optimization cadence running without escalation — Campaigns are being created, tested, and scaled proactively based on performance trends, with minimal need for Sr. Account Director intervention on day-to-day decisions.Reporting that clients trust and act on — Custom performance reports are delivered on schedule, tailored to each client's measurement priorities, and used as the basis for ongoing strategy conversations.Account Managers and Campaign Managers executing with clarity — Direct reports and supporting team members are receiving clear direction, have well-defined task ownership, and are developing their craft under this role's guidance.Product feedback loop established and active — Client insights and platform experience are being translated into structured, actionable feedback delivered to the product team on a regular cadence.Skills — Core Technical CapabilitiesRequired6+ years of hands-on paid Facebook/Meta advertising and campaign management experienceDeep fluency in performance marketing methodologies — ROAS, Dynamic Ads, omnichannel attribution, and direct response optimizationStrong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for performance reporting and trend analysisExperience managing significant ad budgets with consistent, deadline-driven executionFamiliarity with technical setup and troubleshooting — product catalogs, Meta pixels, offline data sets, and feed mappingDemonstrated ability to manage and delegate to junior team membersPreferredExperience with Instagram, Pinterest, or Snapchat performance marketingFamiliarity with third-party social platforms or commerce-focused ad tech toolsCompetencies — Behaviors We Like to SeeAnalytical RigorDigs into performance data independently to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities before clients raise themBuilds reporting that tells a clear story, not just a data dump — connecting numbers to decisionsOwnership and AccountabilityTreats client accounts as their own business — proactively managing risks, flagging issues early, and following through without being chasedHolds a high bar for consistency and accuracy, especially under deadline pressureClear, Confident CommunicationCommunicates performance, testing plans, and recommendations to client stakeholders in a way that is direct, credible, and easy to act onWrites and speaks with enough precision that internal teams and clients are never left guessingEffective Team LeadershipDelegates clearly and checks in appropriately — neither micromanaging nor going dark on their teamInvests in developing Account Managers and Campaign Managers, sharing context and feedback that helps them growIn accordance with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparency laws, the anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below.
