Dynamics 365 Business Analyst (Supply Chain/Manufacturing)

Requires travel to Norwood, MA (1 Day), Needham, MA (1 Day), and South Windsor, CT (1 Day) - 3 Days Onsite per weekWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support manufacturing and supply chain operations within a rapidly expanding IT organization. This position partners closely with operational leaders and technical teams to enhance systems, streamline processes, and deliver scalable solutions.The role spans the full solution lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through deployment, testing, and post-go-live support. Primary systems in scope include enterprise ERP platforms, manufacturing execution tools, and business intelligence/reporting solutions. Upcoming initiatives include a large-scale ERP modernization effort centered on production planning, materials management, and demand forecasting.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define system requirements, process logic, and functional specificationsLead workshops and working sessions to gather requirements and align cross-functional teamsAct as a central point of coordination between business units, IT, and external partnersTranslate business needs into clear documentation, including process flows, use cases, and functional designsAssess current operations, identify gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practicesSupport end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and implementations as part of project teamsPartner with project leadership on planning, tracking, and coordination activitiesDevelop and execute test strategies, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)Track, document, and resolve system issues and defects throughout the testing cycleProvide advanced user support and troubleshooting when neededDesign and deliver reporting and analytical solutions to support business decision-makingOccasionally travel to operational sites to support implementations and user adoptionQualifications & Experience7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar roleProven ability to work independently and manage complex initiatives with minimal oversightDeep understanding of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution deliveryExperience supporting enterprise systems, particularly ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or similar preferred)Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes, such as production planning, inventory management, and demand forecastingHands-on experience with ERP configuration concepts, data structures, and query tools (SQL knowledge preferred)Demonstrated involvement in full lifecycle system implementationsStrong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience influencing adoption of new systems, processes, or tools within an organizationSkilled in process documentation, workflow modeling, and data analysis using tools like Excel or BI platformsBackground in manufacturing environments; experience in consumer products or food production is a plusHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySelf-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teamsBachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field
