Welder Fabricator

Job Description Position SummaryWe are currently searching for a Welder/Fabricator with a basic understanding and competency in welding and grinding. Responsibilities cover a wide range of shop-floor tasks including manual welding and grinding, machine operation, equipment rigging, and basic electrical assembly.This is a hands-on skilled role suited for individuals with foundational experience in welding and grinding, especially stainless-steel work.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform stainless steel welding, grinding, and cutting operations in all positionsSet up and operate machines (presses, shears, saws, punches, etc.) per blueprintsOperate mobile crane equipment under 20,000 lbs. and assist with rigging/hoistingOperate spray foam insulation, sandblast, and painting equipmentPerform tinning, complex soldering, and resistance welding (spot/seam)Assemble motor controls and complete three-phase wiring using ladder diagramRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specificationsCoordinate warehouse activities including receiving, inventory, and special ordersMaintain safe, clean work practices and follow company proceduresOther related duties as assignedAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely;Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of blueprint reading, welding, and grindingWorking knowledge of blocking, clamping, and holding parts to avoid distortionUnderstanding of abrasives and metal finishesAbility to lift weight up to 65 lbs. (assistance and lifting equipment provided)Willingness to work in variable environmental conditions (dust, noise, seasonal temps)Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and lift frequently throughout the shiftEmployment Type & CompensationThis is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position | Permanent placement with employerPay rate is $38,001.60 - $46,030.40 yearly, based on experienceApplication Window: Open until filledWork Schedule4-Day work week | Varied shifts availableBenefitsBenefit details have not been provided at this time.
