Seasonal Yard TechnicianReports to: Equipment ManagerFLSA Status: Non-exemptHours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise dictated; 40-45-hour work week; seasonal.Job Location: 2040 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH, 43207 This position does not offer remote work capabilities.General Overview: Assist the Maintenance Department, maintain and track inventory of equipment brought into or taken out of Igel Yard daily. Help the Department keep the yard organized and safe. Assist in loading and unloading shipments and deliveries in a safe and timely manner. This person should consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership. This is a seasonal position.Responsibilities:Operates forklift for safe transporting, loading, and unloading materialAssists with the maintenance of warehouse and yard inventory in an efficient and orderly mannerMakes deliveries or picks up material or parts as neededAssists the Facilities Department as necessaryConfigures and integrates new inventory items into company systems, ensuring each item is properly labeled with a legible identification number upon returnAssign numbers to incoming inventory itemsMaintains a clean and organized yard, including regularly emptying trash drums at fuel islandsKnows and adheres to all Company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedThis list is non-exhaustive. Job responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and the instructions of the employee's supervisor.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and climb for extended periods; ability to maintain balance and coordination on uneven or slippery surfaces; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to learn new skills.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust maintain an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that meets the Company's eligibilityMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (George J.
