Job DescriptionElectrical Project Manager\nJob Location: Wilmington, NC\nPay Range: $65,000 - $90,000\nBenefits:\n\nCompany matched 401K\nHealth\nDental\nVision\nFree Basic Life and STD\nGroup Vol Life\nLTD\nPaid Holidays\nPTO\n\nReports To:\nThe Project Manager will report to Director of Construction.\n \nJob Overview:\nThe purpose of this position is to support field operations by ensuring coordination of information and proper, timely material ordering to meet the project schedule.\n \nResponsibilities and Duties which are expected to be performed include but are not limited to:\n\nEnsure all permits and plan reviews are coordinated in a timely manner\nEnsure appropriate quantity and type of material are ordered to meet the project schedule and daily workflow\nAttend project meetings as required\nCoordinate subcontractors; Fire Alarm vendors, public and private utility locators, underground boring are examples of subs that must be coordinated and scheduled\nEnsure field supervisor and job foreman are aware of any specialized equipment needs\nEnsure all direct charges are recorded to the job\nEnsure all change orders are tracked, recorded and provided to the customer in a timely manner\nCorrespond and communicate with field personnel, GC, subcontractors and internal staff to ensure the job needs are met\nCoordinate periodic meetings with field supervisor / job foreman to review project status\nAssist field supervisor with setting benchmark objectives towards completion of job\nEnsure project benchmarks are achieved, and job schedule is maintained\nCoordinate distribution of appropriate documentation at time of job close out\nEncourage an environment of open communications and a culture of safety\n\n \nQualifications:\n\nThis position should have experience working in a fast-paced office setting in which coordinating multiple tasks and functions, often at the same time, is common practice.\nExperience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors and establishing permits are all areas which will benefit from experience.\nShould have a background using the Microsoft Office suite as well as navigating proprietary software programs.\nWhile formal education is not a requirement for this position, an AAS or BA in Project Management, Business, Management or a related field would prove to be beneficial.\nTrade related certifications are also beneficial in completing job responsibilities.\n\n \nThis position should be able to sit, bend, stoop and lift items not to exceed 50 pounds.
