Material Handler

Summary: This position reports to the Service Inventory/Planning Manager performing receiving and sterilization of inbound materials in a Service warehouse environment. This team player will perform all receiving transactions necessary for returned material from the field while following sterilization and cleanliness processes and standards. He/she will also provide support to Service Pick & Pack shipping and Service assembly kitting. Essential Job Functions: Receives returned material from FUJIFILM Sonosite customers. Performs decontamination/sterilization of all materials being received from field following processes and standards for sterilization chemicals. Warehouse maintenance, disposal of shipping cardboard, and packing materials, keeping area clean and organized per 5S standards. Maintain receiving supplies stocking levels. Performs inventory transactions pertaining to receipts and reconciliation within designated areas. Perform scrap transactions. Routes received material to various locations within Sonosite buildings. Knowledge and Experience: Minimum one (1) year of receiving, and inventory control experience. Must have experience/proficiency with Microsoft Office software such as Word/Excel. HS Diploma required or equivalent. Skills and Abilities: Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP/MRP systems. Good analytical skills to understand material transactions and reconcile discrepancies in Oracle. Must have attention to detail on all shipments and documentation. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, multi-tasking environment. Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information & records.
