Cello Instructor

We are looking to hire a cello instructor that fits the philosophy of our studio: We want students to get excited about the music they’re learning and experience the joy of playing music! :)Responsibilities-Teaching 30, 45 or 60 minute weekly private lessons while maintaining a fun, positive, and engaging attitude-Promptly responding to emails and text messages with parents and staff-Showing up on time and ready to teach at your scheduled time-Rescheduling make-up lessons if you have to miss a lessonQualifications-Can work with students ages 4 and up (required)-Experience in performance such as recitals or gigs (required)-Some or a lot of prior teaching experience (preferred)-Good time management skills (required)-Strong communication skills (required)-Pleasant, friendly personality (required)-Able to adapt to each student's personality and needs (required)Benefits-You get to set your own schedule and rates-Getting to work in a fun, positive, stress-free environment while working alongside a friendly and welcoming community of musicians guaranteed-Open rehearsal space for your band or ensemble after lesson hours have concludedWe will contact you once we have received your application.
