Mid-Level Software Developer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our Development team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing tools, firmware, and unit tests that meet the customer’s requirements. Travel: Negligible Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements: Unites States citizenshipBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline4-7 years of software development experienceExperience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, Shell/Bash, and JSON/YMLExperience in Docker and GitExperience with agile software development practicesAbility to be a motivated, self-starterAbility and desire to quickly learn new skills or grow knowledge areas Responsibilities: Develop software tools for use in data managementDevelop software tools for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and autonomous weapons systems testingDevelop firmware for sensor data collection and accompanying drivers for data collectionDevelop unit tests for new software developed by developer Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in Java/C#, HTML/CSS, Make, TOML/XMLAbility to mentor junior software developers. Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required. Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $79,000 - $130,000 (USD).
