The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and a strong background in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. Experience in the banking or financial domain is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership & StrategyLead the design, architecture, and development of backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Java developers.Ensure adherence to best coding practices, design patterns, and security standards.Work closely with stakeholders to understand risk-related business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Backend Development & Risk SystemsDevelop high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications.Implement risk modeling, fraud detection, or compliance-driven features in financial applications.Optimize data processing pipelines for real-time and batch processing.Integration & Performance OptimizationDesign and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.Optimize system performance, latency, and scalability.Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.Team Collaboration & Agile DeliveryLead and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.Drive Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).Ensure smooth coordination between cross-functional teams.Technical Skills & Qualifications:Java Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices.Risk Management Experience: Exposure to risk-based applications, fraud detection, or financial risk modeling.Backend Development: Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.Cloud & DevOps: Experience in AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Database & Messaging: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
