Key ResponsibilitiesManage and enrich metadata in Atlan, ensuring datasets, tables, and pipelines are well-documented and easily discoverableImplement and maintain data cataloging standards, classifications (PII, sensitive data), and business glossaryDefine and enforce data governance policies, including RBAC/ABAC and compliance requirementsBuild and maintain end-to-end data lineage to support impact analysis and traceability (source → transformation → consumption)Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to improve data accessibility and usabilityOversee data quality standards, monitor issues, and drive resolutionSupport access governance workflows and ensure proper handling of sensitive dataConfigure Atlan integrations and automation with platforms like Databricks, GCP, Snowflake, and BI toolsRequired SkillsHands-on experience with Atlan (preferred) or similar tools (Collibra, Alation)Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and lineageExperience with modern data platforms (Databricks, GCP, Snowflake, etc.)Knowledge of PII handling, data security, RBAC/ABAC modelsProficiency in SQL and data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT)Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skillsNice to HaveExperience in DBX to GCP migrationsExposure to data quality tools (Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, etc.)Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA)
