If you're interested in being a part of our journey and helping us grow to become the leading provider of SoC platform solutions, we definitely want to hear from you.JOB DESCRIPTION:As Product Owner you are the ultimate authority and leader for all engineering activities, trade-offs, technical decisions, and execution on a project. You will be accountable for decisions, working directly with senior leadership and fully dedicated to the project. You are the engineering face of the project, across the organization, up to executive staff and out to customers. You will be expected to deftly transverse the organization to drive engineering decisions and deliver the project on time and in spec. You will leverage your technical credibility, communication and collaboration skills, and as the owner, be focused to deliver the project from end to end; concept to mass production.Responsibilities• Drives technical collaboration between internal teams and owns the design decisions to deliver a product on time and in spec.• Primary technical interface between the customer and the company, engaging in deep technical conversations about system design, characteristics, and performance as well as product issues• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems• Provide regular updates to management on program status, gaps, and where needed, provide potential solutions to bring programs back on track.• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions• Ensure product development and product pricing meet gross margin profitability• Vendor management to ensure product meets both performance and cost expectations• Build and define product roadmap definitions based on market assessment and customer interactionsQualifications• Demonstrated and trusted leader, detail-oriented and self-motivated• Technical background with an advanced degree in engineering, physics or a related field• Strong foundation in the area of sensing and sensor development• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully driving products to market• Proven leadership capabilities in influencing and driving cross-functional teams in a matrixed global organization• Experience in a global development, manufacturing and/or product management organization• Ability to interface with customers to influence product performance specifications and build market intelligence• Ability to interface and negotiate with high profile customers, maintaining appropriate communication and discretion in development of products with high visibility in consumer markets• Proven track record to break up long activities into intermediary delivery points to check in on engineering progress and provide regular updates to customers and internal management• Proven ability to collaborate, work cross-functionally, and gain support to generate results and meet business unit objectives• Working knowledge of sensors for consumer electronics, including MEMS, ASIC, packaging, testing and system level integration, and operations.• Strong oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, comfortable with customer and executive management communication• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.EducationBachelor degree (MS or PhD preferred) in engineering or physics.The starting annual base pay for this role ranges between USD $140,000.00 and $180,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent on various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions. This range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
