Job- Python Senior Technical Lead – DevOpsLocation- Charlotte NCDuration- 1 Year W2 Contract Job SummaryThe Senior Technical lead will be responsible for leading technical teams in the development and implementation of DevOps solutions using Python and GitHub. They will oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of DevOps pipelines, ensuring efficient and effective software delivery.Key Responsibilities1. Lead the design and development of DevOps solutions using python and github.2. Create and manage ci/cd pipelines to automate software delivery processes.3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.4. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.5. Implement security and compliance measures in DevOps processes.6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.7. Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to enhance existing processes.Skill Requirements1. Proficiency in DevOps solutions including ci/cd pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization.2. Strong programming skills in python for automation and scripting tasks.3. Experience with version control systems like github for code management.4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.5. Good understanding of cloud platforms and services.6. Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively lead technical teams.7. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.Skills:- 7+ years in DevOps or release automation roles within enterprise environments- Python scripting for build and release automation: file processing, YAML/JSON.XML parsing, subprocess orchestration, regex based routing logic- CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance across one or more platforms: Jenkins, Github actions, Gitlab, Harness- Ansible Tower or AWX playbook development, Jinga2 templating, role based workflows, survey design- JFrog artifactory, artifact publishing, promotion workflows, environment based folder structures- Git proficiency beyond basic usage, branching strategies- Liquibase or equivalent database change management tooling- Experience building automation
