Not out of indifference — but because you know they're capable of reaching it, and lowering standards is the true disservice. If this reasoning resonates, continue reading. If it feels overly strict, this position will likely frustrate you.Students at Alpha don't passively absorb lectures. They advance through adaptive applications at double the speed of conventional classrooms while simultaneously developing practical life competencies. Your responsibility is ensuring three core commitments are fulfilled for every student in your cohort: they develop a love for learning, they progress at 2x velocity, and they acquire skills beyond what traditional textbooks provide. You will also mentor the Guides who uphold these same commitments throughout your campus. All decisions are driven by metrics and all interactions are conducted in person. You'll divide your time between your personal student cohort and the Guides under your mentorship — holding both to identical expectations: documented growth, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you don't file documentation; you observe directly, conduct a debrief, and implement corrections that same afternoon. You'll witness reserved students presenting with confidence to adults. You'll observe a student who previously "despised school" requesting to remain after hours. And you'll recognize that the standards you maintained are precisely what enabled their transformation, because maintaining high expectations demonstrates your belief in their capability. You may be establishing a completely new campus from the ground up, setting the cultural foundation that will shape the institution. As the campus develops, your emphasis transitions from operational startup mode to leadership through coaching, cultivating the team that expands Alpha's methodology across your territory. If this opportunity excites you, submit your application now. What You Will Be DoingFacilitating one-hour live workshops focused on life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) for K-8 students, covering areas such as public speaking and concentration, adhering to Alpha's established playbookConducting daily motivational sessions designed to drive 100% student achievement toward weekly app objectives using developmentally appropriate incentives including school currency and leaderboardsDeveloping Guides through direct observation, focused feedback, and practical training so they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy as you demonstrateAnalyzing Coachbot data and student profiles to pinpoint which students require intervention, then providing that intervention yourselfDirectly mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all GuidesWhat You Won’t Be DoingCreating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Students advance through adaptive applications; your role is elevating the people surrounding them.Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You're 80% performer, 20% content expert; if you prefer standing at a whiteboard, this role isn't suitable.Compromising standards due to pressure from parents or administrators. When a student achieves 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you'll receive full support to maintain that standard.Spending time in an office processing administrative paperwork. The majority of your day involves direct engagement with students and Guides.Waiting extended periods for performance feedback.
