HRIS, Records & File Management Coordinator (Part-Time, Project-Based)Location: Chicago, IL (On-site – Chicago Skyway)Duration: Approximately 6 monthsSchedule: 3 days/week (initially Mondays, Thursdays, Friday)Hours: Up to 20 hours/weekHourly Rate: $20-$23/hrAbout the SkywayBuilt by the City of Chicago in 1958, the Chicago Skyway Toll Bridge ("Skyway") is a 7.8-mile toll road connecting the Indiana Toll Road to the Dan Ryan Expressway on Chicago's South Side. A key feature of the Skyway is the half-mile-long steel truss "High Bridge," which spans the Calumet River and Calumet Harbor—an important route for industrial shipping. The bridge's main span is 650 feet long and provides 125 feet of vertical clearance.Our Vision: To be the best operational toll road project in the United States, recognized for delivering exceptional value to our customers, partners, and community through operational excellence and sustainable long-term performance.Our Mission: Our mission is simple: Provide the safest, most time-efficient, convenient, and reliable highway to and through Chicago.About the RoleThe Chicago Skyway is seeking a detail-oriented HRIS, Records & File Management Coordinator to support a critical File Management & Records Centralization Project within the Human Resources team.This role will play a key part in organizing, reconciling, and standardizing employee records while helping establish a Single System of Record across HRIS and SharePoint platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in structured, detail-heavy environments and is passionate about data integrity, organization, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesReconcile employee files across systems to ensure accuracy and completenessScan, organize, audit, and clean up personnel records (digital and/or physical)Support the centralization of HR documentation into a standardized systemAssist in implementing consistent filing and records management practicesPartner with HR stakeholders to ensure compliance and data consistencyHelp establish and maintain a Single System of Record between HRIS and SharePointQualificationsPrior experience in HR, HRIS, records management, or administrative operations preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience working with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint) and/or HRIS platformsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionComfortable working independently on project-based tasksStrong communication and collaboration skillsWhat You'll GainOpportunity to contribute to a high-impact HR transformation projectHands-on experience with HRIS and records governance best practicesFlexible, part-time scheduleWork Environment and Physical DemandsThis role operates primarily in an on-site environment at 8801 S.
