Director, Compliance
OverviewJob PurposeIntercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE) is seeking a director-level compliance professional to join our corporate compliance team.In the role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s enterprise-wide compliance program covering areas including electronic communications, conflicts of interest, personal trading, anti-bribery, anti-fraud, sanctions, and business gifts, meals, and entertainment, among others.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the Corporate Compliance team, including direct management of a Compliance AnalystDevelop, implement, and maintain corporate compliance policies, procedures, and standards to align with legal, regulatory requirements and industry best practicesOversee periodic review and updates to compliance program to address legal or regulatory changes and evolving business risksDesign, implement and manage compliance training programs for employees across the organizationMonitor ICE’s protected disclosure hotline and oversee internal compliance investigations, including alleged policy violations or breachesAdminister the review, processing, and monitoring of employees’ compliance with ICE’s business gifts, meals, and entertainment policyEvaluate and process employees’ requests to engage in outside activitiesAdminister the review, processing, and monitoring of employees’ compliance with ICE’s personal trading policyConduct research related to compliance with applicable sanctions lawsReview employees’ electronic communications for compliance with policiesSupport additional projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadershipKnowledge And ExperienceBachelor’s degree with 10+ years’ experience in compliance, legal or internal audit at a public company High ethical standards and discretionDeep knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworksProven leadership, sound judgment, and strong decision-making skillsAbility to influence without authority and drive organizational change across a complex enterpriseExperience planning, implementing, and overseeing compliance training programsProficiency in organizing, managing, and analyzing large data sets usingMicrosoft Excel and other relevant toolsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to identify issues, assess risk, and respond decisivelyOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills and critical thinking skillsSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentHigh sense of ownership and urgency with a proactive approach to problem-solvingPreferred SkillsExperience in financial services and financial markets a plusCertified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalentIntercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
