Job Title: Field Service Validation & Calibration TechnicianLocation: Hackettstown, NJType: Direct Hire | Compensation: $60-$65K + BenefitsSchedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday | Work Model: OnsiteAbout the RoleAre you passionate about precision and technology? Join our team as a Field Service Validation & Calibration Technician, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the performance and compliance of advanced laboratory instrumentation. This position offers hands-on technical work, extensive travel, and opportunities for professional growth.What You'll Do+ Perform preventive maintenance, IQ/OQ validations, troubleshooting, and repairs on laboratory instruments.+ Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.+ Provide technical training and support to customers via onsite visits, email, and phone.+ Complete and submit IQ/OQ documentation accurately and in compliance with SOPs.+ Read and interpret wiring schematics; perform system interconnections.+ Manage travel schedules efficiently and submit expense reports promptly.+ Build strong customer relationships and promote preventive maintenance agreements.+ Provide after-hours phone support on a rotating basis.+ Working with Density Meters, Refractometers, Polarimeters, Saccharimeters, and Automation solutions.What We're Looking For+ Technical degree or certification in electronics (Analog/Digital Circuits a plus) or equivalent experience.+ Background in calibration, validation, or QC of analytical instrumentation.+ Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.+ Skilled in using hand tools, including digital multimeters.+ Proficient in reading wiring schematics and using MS Office.+ 2+ years of field service experience with proven ability to travel extensively.+ Valid driver's license with a clean record.Travel Requirements+ Enjoy the chance to travel nationwide, meet diverse clients, and work on advanced instrumentation in various settings.+ 75-90% travel across the continental U.S., including overnight stays.+ Comfortable with airports and air travel.Physical Requirements+ Lift up to 40 lbs. individually or 80 lbs. with assistance.+ Stand for 2-6 hours per day.+ Drive up to 6 hours to appointments.Why Join Us?+ Competitive salary and benefits package.+ Ongoing training and development opportunities.+ Work with cutting-edge laboratory technology.+ Be part of a team that values Quality, Integrity, and Innovation.#M3-#LI-#DI-Ref: #558-ScientificSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
