We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests.
Skills
Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering settings.
Strong food preparation skills with a focus on quality and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Experience in menu planning is a plus, along with previous dietary department or aide experience.
