GitHub AI Consultant We are seeking an experienced GitHub AI Consultant to help enterprise organizations become AI-enabled development environments. In this role, you will guide clients in leveraging GitHub and Copilot to enhance software delivery, improve developer productivity, and integrate AI into broader digital strategies. You will lead enterprise enablement efforts through workshops, technical guidance, and adoption planning. Working closely with engineering and platform leaders, you will assess organizational needs, align Copilot capabilities to business challenges, and establish best practices for responsible and effective AI adoption. This role combines technical enablement with change management, ensuring development teams are equipped to maximize AI-driven workflows. You will create educational resources, lead onboarding initiatives, and provide ongoing support to drive long-term engagement. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business and transformation goals. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute enterprise adoption strategies for GitHub Copilot and AI developer toolsFacilitate workshops on prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, responsible AI practices, and workflow optimizationSupport proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs to validate enterprise use casesPartner with leadership to embed AI workflows into daily development practicesCollaborate with platform, migration, and delivery teams to integrate AI into broader transformation programs Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise4-6 years of experience in software development or technical consultingStrong programming background in Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScriptHands-on experience using GitHub Copilot across IDEs and GitHub workflowsFamiliarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or comparable large language model platformsExcellent technical communication and client-facing skillsGitHub Copilot certification (preferred, not required) Compensation & BenefitsInclusive, growth-oriented workplace cultureExposure to challenging, high-impact technical projectsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsOngoing training and professional development supportTeam-focused environment with regular engagement activities Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location and may be adjusted over time. Colorado Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 USD
