Sitting within a collaborative legal team, this individual will act as the primary legal partner to human resources and key business stakeholders, advising on a wide range of workforce-related matters. The organization operates at significant scale across international markets, delivering enterprise software and data-driven solutions to a broad client base, and is known for its innovation and fast-paced, high-volume environment where legal plays a critical, business-facing role. ResponsibilitiesServe as the main legal advisor to HR on employment matters across the employee lifecycleCounsel on compliance with federal and state employment laws and monitor evolving regulatory developmentsHandle and advise on pre-litigation and litigation-related matters, including employee complaints, accommodations, wage and hour issues, and restrictive covenantsAssess legal risk and provide practical, business-oriented guidance to internal stakeholdersDraft and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and internal documentationManage and coordinate with outside counsel as needed Requirements6+ years of employment law experience, in-house or at a law firmStrong knowledge of U.S. employment laws with experience across both advisory and disputesAbility to manage a high-volume, varied workload independentlyExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate legal concepts for non-legal audiencesCollaborative and business-minded approachJ.D. and active bar membership required; international exposure is a plus
