Supervisor – Gift Card Accounting
OverviewThis role will work in a hybrid (in-office and remote) capacity based out of our Camp Hill, PA Corporate office. In-office days are Tuesday-Thursday.Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Accounting Supervisor, Gift Cards to join our team! Reporting to the Manager of Gift Cards, this position will be responsible for timely and accurate accounting, reporting, and analysis for Gift Cards, ensuring that all accounting is performed in accordance with GAAP. This includes operational supervision, SOX compliance, reporting, monthly analytical reviews, and accounting deadline and submission requirements. Assist Manager with forecasting/budgeting.Support the team on new initiatives and generating new business. Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of Gift Card in transit/activations/redemptions, as well as appropriate downstream accounting.Responsible for ensuring value-added reporting is created and distributed, including in-store sales reports, 3rd party sales, direct sales, and FLX (loyalty program) reporting.Responsible for ensuring all departmental accounting deadlines are met, including balance sheet account reconciliations, account balance analytical reviews, voucher and invoice approvals, journal entries, and both internal and external audits.Support department’s SOX compliance, testing, and reporting.Responsible for maintaining existing departmental controls as well as ensuring all necessary controls exist.Implement new controls where opportunities are identified.Supervise, review, and guide staff.QualificationsRequires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting3+ years of related experience preferredAdvanced with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Access, PowerBI)Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and running PeopleSoft queries helpfulExperience with Blackline software helpfulStrong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectivesExcellent communication skillsMust be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executivesStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlinesExperience working on cross functional teams, multitasking and managing time independently with little directionAt Foot Locker, We Value Innovation, Authenticity, And Integrity In All That We Do. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
