Le'Fant is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom software and database applications for both legacy and modernized systems. The role involves collaborating with a product team and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle, including planning, coding, testing, release, and retrospectives. Candidates should have hands‐on experience with Java or C# (.NET Core), Spring MVC/Boot, Angular or React, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and full‐stack system design and integration. Mentoring junior team members, supporting code quality practices, and providing innovative solutions to complex technical problems are additional responsibilities. Applicants located near Ashburn, Virginia who can report on‐site at least once per week are preferred. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight. Act as a member of a product team, supporting teammates and collaborating to ensure product and team success. Provide improvements to the supported product(s). Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases. Support release planning with conceptual design and refinement of software engineering guidelines. Analyze complex project‐related problems and create innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components. Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, provide advice and guidance, resolve problems to meet objectives, and provide periodic performance reports. Mentor junior team members. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. All work must be performed within the United States. Must have the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to: 1‐year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud 1‐year check for illegal drug use 3‐year check for felony convictions College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Professional experience: at least seven years related technical experience, with software design, development, and implementation in a Windows environment. You'll Bring These Qualifications Demonstrated professional experience with our full tech stack: Java / C# (.NET Core), Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Angular / React. Experience creating reusable libraries, developing interactive and responsive interfaces, implementing complex solutions, encouraging quality code through reviews and leading tests, and applying visualizations to solutions. Ability to implement new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces integrated with API‐enabled microservices built on Spring‐boot/Java or C# (.NET Core) based backend. Provide detailed examples of instances where you have bridged the gap between user interface design and technical implementation. Genuine passion for user experience and user‐centric development. Persistence – continuously research new and best coding practices. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Exceptional communication skills, including leading design‐related conversations and building collaborative relationships. Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows (Git preferred). Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle: planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, OCP Java, etc. Ability to support and enhance applications built on a Spring Boot or .NET Core technical stack. Pay Transparency Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 to $120,000.
