Operations Supervisor

Job Summary A small family‑owned, industry‑respected culvert manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on, motivated Operations Supervisor to lead a small production team with daily operations to keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently. You will manage inventory processes, ensure efficient warehouse distribution and coordinate daily logistics activities. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, equipment, and process improvement in a manufacturing warehouse environment. Training provided on-site and at our Charlotte MI headquarters. What You’ll Do Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of 3 to 4 production employees Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Monitor and track inventory to maintain a steady, uninterrupted production flow Oversee quality control checks and ensure materials meet company standards Maintain an organized, efficient yard layout Work with walk-in customers Coordinate logistics activities with company owned trucks Ensure proper operation, handling, and basic maintenance of equipment and machinery Document daily production and complete required paperwork Uphold and support established company policies Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment Operate and maintain all machinery as needed What You Bring 2–4 years of proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics coordination, and team management Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation Forklift operation experience and ability to handle physical work Strong multitasking and time‑management skills Sound judgment in production and personnel decisions Ability to pass a physical examination Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Warehouse supervisor: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Indianapolis, IN 46203 (Required) Work Location: In person
