Start your new career without delay-our training classes begin every Monday.Why make the move to MTM Transit?$21.85 per hourAffordable benefits including Medical, Dental and VisionPaid Training & OvertimePaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) with Company MatchInternal career growth opportunities What you'll need:Experience, Education & Certifications:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMust be 21 years of age or olderMust possess a continuously valid US driver's license for 3 yearsMust possess a valid Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hireNo DUI or DWI convictionsNo more than 1 suspension, moving violation, or citation within the last 3 years - no more than 2 within past 5 yearsMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screeningMust pass criminal background check investigation including a TX DPS MVRValid authorization to work in the United StatesMust provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history Skills:Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic deviceAbility to maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to communicate with others and comprehend instructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedulesAbility to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulationsFamiliarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area What You'll Do:Provide safe and reliable transportationDemonstrate excellent defensive driving skillsProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholdersMust assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicleMust assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocolsEnsure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customerDemonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilitiesComplete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as requiredComplete paperwork as requiredUtilize tablets or electronic devices as requiredMTM Transit is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerMTM Transit is an equal opportunity employer who welcomes diversity and values the ways in which we are different.
