Senior Citizen Program Aide- Nutrition

Morris County Office of Nutrition Program is seeking candidates for the position of Senior Citizen Program Aide. Under direction performs a variety of tasks to assist the Morris County Nutrition Program serving congregate meals, and delivering home delivered meals to county residents 60 and over. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Packaging hot meals for home deliveries Preparing center for congregate clients Serving of meals in dining area to congregate Cleaning responsibilities of kitchen utensils and assist in kitchen preparations and clean up on a daily basis Supplies stored orderly and inventory stocked Supply site coverage for the Site Manager when needed Ability to interpret rules and regulations and apply them to specific situations Ability to maintain essential records and files Checks, cleans, and performs minor servicing of vehicles Assume other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Appointee must possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey, with a positive driving record Ability to relate to program participants and to deal efficiently with their needs and problems Follow instructions and provide necessary assistance to those in need Utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position Department and Division Human Services-Nutrition Job Location 340 West Hanover Ave Morristown, NJ 07962
