Lead safety programs and compliance efforts that protect people, projects, and federal facilities at scale.Position SummaryThe Safety and Occupational Health Specialist supports GSA's national safety program by providing expert guidance, policy interpretation, and program oversight. This role serves as a subject matter expert in occupational safety, compliance, and risk management while supporting inspections, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on occupational safety, hazard control, and regulatory complianceServe as SME across safety areas including construction, electrical, fall protection, PPE, and hazard analysisConduct inspections, investigations, and risk assessments; develop corrective action plansInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measuresReview construction and project plans to ensure safety complianceDevelop and deliver safety policies, guidance, and training programsSupport national safety program tracking, reporting, and continuous improvementRepresent GSA in meetings with agencies, regulators, and stakeholdersMaintain safety data, records, and compliance with federal standardsCompany DescriptionAt MIRACORP, we don't just support federal agencies—we set the standard for quality and reliability.
