Manager of Youth Development Program Alignment and Priorities

The Manager of Youth Development (YD) Program Alignment and Priorities oversees quality initiatives across the youth development department. This role ensures grant requirements are met to Fidelity, with a large focus on ensuring parent engagement activities are successful, and student eligibility and enrollment requirements are met.Major Responsibilities and Key TasksCreate and implement YD parent engagement initiatives alongside YD staff in alignment with grant requirements.Oversee quality initiatives and ensure effective implementation agency-wide.Coordinate with YD managers and parents to ensuring enrollment and eligibility processes are accurately collected, reviewed and maintained in compliance with applicable grant and regulatory requirements.Assist to streamline large scale projects that involves documentation, enrollment, parent engagement.Respond to and manage crisis situations with professionalism, sound judgment and a calm, solutions-oriented approach.Collaborate with schools to ensure full enrollment and partnership.Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops, and other professional development activitiesAbility to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.Demonstrate respect, understanding, and patience to all youth and adults from all cultural backgrounds, with an appreciation for their interests, creativity, capabilities and means of expression.Comply and adhere to all compliance and licensure standards, including local, state and national regulatory entitiesAbility to effectively coach and train others to ensure consistency and fidelity with curriculum, pilot programs, policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesPassion for youth development and working in Out of School Time (OST) programsBachelor's degree in a field related to school-age childcare, child development, elementary education, physical education, recreation, other related field.
