About This Job: As a Material Handler, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials within our organization. You are responsible for moving, storing, and distributing materials and products, contributing directly to our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence. Your work ensures that all departments have the necessary resources to function effectively. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse. Manages inventory by accurately receiving, stocking, and tracking materials. Participates in warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Utilizes pallet jacks to transport materials within the facility. Handles shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and preparing goods for dispatch. Performs data entry to update inventory records and track material movements. Uses RF scanning devices to accurately track inventory and fulfill orders. Supports order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Conducts quality control checks to ensure materials meet required standards. Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge/Skills: Proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operation. Solid understanding of inventory management principles. Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures. Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently. Skill in using RF scanning devices. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in forklift operation. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Physical Requirements/Work Conditions: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Must be able to work safely around moving machinery.
