WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (ES)

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving and storing packaging and ingredient items and filling production orders This role ensures that inventory is accurately maintained, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized. Join us in our Purpose and apply for an opportunity today! Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and qualityStage, store, and organize materials and products in the warehouse according to company standardsPrepare orders for production ensuring accuracy and completenessLoad and unload trucks safely and efficiently, using proper equipment and proceduresMaintain accurate inventory records through scanning, documentation, and reconciliationConduct routine cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventoriesOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe mannerMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, following all safety and food safety procedures as applicableCommunicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding inventory, orders, and operational issuesFollow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMust cross train in other areasPerform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operationsMinimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicalEssential Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesAbility to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, invoices, and safety instructions.Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain and promote a safe work environmentRead and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as neededPreferred Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or relatedPrior warehouse, distribution, manufacturing experiencePrevious experience working in a food manufacturing environmentPhysical DemandsAbility to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe mannerStanding (8 hours a day or more)Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)Reaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs)Working at heightsGripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wristsBending and stooping for short periods of timeWorking below knee levels for short periods of timeWorking above shoulder level for short periods of timeWorking at various heights for short periods of timeSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focusWorking Conditions & Travel RequirementsWork is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilitiesPosition includes working in areas with temperatures below freezing as well as working at heightsPosition requires working around processing plant equipmentMust be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipmentThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environmentThe noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protectionThis position does not require travelDisclaimerWe embrace equal opportunity employment.
