Java Developer

Position: Java Developer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite/Hybrid; must be local and available for in-person interview)

Interview Requirements: Old LinkedIn profile with photo & photo ID copyKey Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications Build scalable Microservices using Java and Spring Boot Develop and integrate RESTful APIs Optimize application performance, reliability, and security Collaborate with cross-functional development and QA teams Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical supportRequired Skills Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and Core Java Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework Microservices architecture development and maintenance RESTful API design and integration Proficiency in SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred Qualifications Background in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise environments Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing Prior experience supporting large enterprise clients
