Our highly skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team provide the latest diagnostic procedures and treatments available. The PICU serves as the core for designating Healthcare as Pediatric Critical Care Center.Qualifications:Educational Requirements:Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or higher preferred.License/Certification/Registration Requirements:Current California State RN License requiredRequired Certifications: PALSPreferred Certifications: ACLS, CCRNFloat required: Peds & NICURequired skills: ICP, IV Start, Tele, and ventsFor RN III: Specialty Certification (external applicants may obtain within one year of hire)Post op cardiac experience and Congenital Cardiac ICU RequiredPediatric ICU and congenital cardiac ICU, neurosurgical patients, kidney transplant, trauma, medical/surgicalPreferred skills: administer chemo, charge experience, conscious sedation, and Level I TraumaExperience:Minimum 2 years recent acute RN experience in PICU or Cardiac ICU.
