Material Handler

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials and products within the facility. Responsibilities Safely operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers and forklifts to move materials. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Assist in heavy lifting and transporting of goods throughout the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Follow OSHA compliance at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred, with knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. Familiarity with operating cherry pickers, forklifts, and RF scanners is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout shifts. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA compliance. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
