On Site Trainer

Job Summary:
The Technical Trainer is responsible for coordinating all training related activities for our sites across the United States. The Technical Trainer will lead the design, development, pilot, delivery and evaluation of innovative learning solutions that support our client partnership and employee development
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, design, implementation, and delivery of multi-level department training programs for WIOSS employees.
Develop continuous improvement of training program to impact overall employee productivity and performance.
Schedules training and maintains training records.
Evaluates training delivery and provides feedback.
Coaches trainees and on-site trainers and provides skills assessment evaluation.
Utilizes most appropriate learning methods including computer-based training, simulation, on-the-job training and classroom.
Monitors overall effectiveness of training programs.
Outsource training as needed.
Conduct training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
Manage and maintain training equipment.
Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
Gather feedback from trainees after each educational session.
Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design and content.
Audit internal departmental standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor & evaluate)
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills.
Ability to document training, processes, procedures, etc. for employee use.
Ability to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.
Experience communicating with senior level staff and customers as needed.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an equipment operator or in a maintenance trade.
2 years of experience training others in a technical / hands-on capacity.
Physical Requirements:
Warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from +34 degrees to -15 degrees
Continuous walking, climbing and standing
Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds
Ability to adapt to temperature changes in a warehouse environment
