General Surgery Opportunity

Job Description Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a dynamic and expanding multispecialty group practice in Ontario, Oregon.Join a physician-led team of over 600 providers who utilize a multidisciplinary approach to deliver exceptional patient care. This community-based general surgery practice offers fulfilling surgical experiences, including endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, all while enjoying a relaxed rural lifestyle. The practice operates from a clinic conveniently located next to the hospital. Our facility is a Level IV Trauma Center featuring 50 beds, four operating rooms, endoscopy services, state-of-the-art laparoscopic equipment, advanced imaging capabilities, and award-winning clinical services. Opportunities for outreach are also available.Support for this role includes 24/7 CRNA assistance for anesthesia, a regional network of surgical subspecialties such as surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, upper GI surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and gynecology. Additionally, local primary care and specialty clinics, medical oncology services, and hospital-based imaging services are available, including a 24/7 radiology department, in-house coverage for general radiology and CT, after-hours call for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Breast Care Center, X-ray (DR image capture), and emergency department services.The work schedule consists of a traditional week from Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 32 hours dedicated to patient interactions, which encompasses clinic visits, procedures, and consultations. The call requirement averages ten days per month, including at least one weekend at our facility.
